Interviews with Nazif Muharremi


Nazif Muharremi , the boy from Skopje when tried to take a role in the film . I addicted to music , he had not ever thought of becoming an actor . But apart from the role , he does a jackpot . Jury International Summer Film Festival held in Durres praised the special prize for interpretation of Mirush . It is extremely excited while holding hands gladiatorial golden statue and expects wishes . Although just been introduced to the world of cinema , Muharram , which examines the third year in a Skopje gymnasiums says sure will study for an actor . After the ceremony recalled that it seemed a dream when he first got the script in his hands, and then went on the square footage . Norwegian director Marius Holst has focused Kosovo story of a boy who leaves in search of his father in Norway . He has abandoned the family when he was young and now manages a restaurant in Oslo , but also is involved with the Mafia . Mirush begins work on its premises , without showing that he is the son , but will be forced by circumstances to make tough choices .'ve Got the Special Jury Award for the role- Mirush . And expect this assessment and how you feel ?This is the first award for me and it is a pleasure that I could take . I feel really very good and I wish that the festival succeed in the future .It will be an impetus to proceed further in the way of acting ?Of course , this price makes me think seriously to go into the world of acting and to see how my future profession

Liten gutt blir stor filmstjerne

(VG Nett) Helt uten skuespillererfaring og uten å kunne et ord norsk ble Nazif Muarremi (15) plukket ut av skolen i Makedonia for å spille en hovedrolle i Norge.

VG Nett følgerFilmen Blodsbånd har premiere på fredag handler om Mirush, spilt av Nazif, som alene drar til Norge fra Kosovo for å finne sin far. I Oslo havner han derimot i et intrikat spill med mafiaen.


Mirush klarer seg gjennom en jobb han får under skjult navn i farens restaurant, slik at faren ikke vet at hans nye ryddegutt egentlig er sønnen han forlot for mange år siden.

- Kom gjennom linsa

Til tross for språklige problemer og manglende erfaring var aldri regissør Marius Holst i tvil om at han hadde riktig gutt.

- Jeg så at han hadde ett eller annet som gikk gjennom linsa og begynte å se at han hadde en veldig bratt læringskurve, sier Holst.

Flere hadde sine tvil til den uerfarne unggutten i begynnelsen - også meritterte Enrico Lo Verso som spiller faren til Mirush.
- Han sa før en krevende scene: Er du sikker på gutten? Men etter scenen sa han: Det der kan jeg ikke matche, skryter regissør Holst.

Lo Verso har tidligere spilt i internasjonale storfilmer som «Farinelli», «Lamerica» og «Hannibal».



Ville bli sanger

Hovedrolleinnehaver Nazif var helt fersk som skuespiller før innspillingen, men lærte flere skuespillertriks av regissør Holst.

- Først ville jeg bli sanger. Etter å ha spilt i film har jeg mer lyst til å være skuespiller, men jeg vil fortsatt synge, sier han til VG Nett gjennom sin tolk.

Når han blir spurt om han ikke syntes det var rart å bli tatt ut av skolen for plutselig å gjøre noe helt nytt i et fremmed land svarer han rungende:

- Ja! Som er en av de få norske glosene han har lært seg.

- Kompisene tror ikke han har spilt i film

Regissør Holst sier kompisene hans i hjemlandet knapt tror Nazif har blitt skuespiller.

- Det er fortsatt få av kompisene hans som tror han har spilt i en film, humrer Holst og sier han håper de får en annen oppfatning etter hvert.

Gutten som gjør en solid prestasjon i den svært dype filmen spekket med etiske dilemmaer er ellers som en vanlig liten gutt der han går og spøker med pressen og sitter rastløst på stolen og venter på at media skal bli ferdige med han.

Godmodig kelner

Men selv om filmen har en svært internasjonal rolleliste er også norske skuespillere fremtredende i Blodsbånd.

Glen André Kaada spiller Frode, en norsk kelner som blander seg inn i de voldsomme mafiakonfliktene som oppstår i kjølvannet av Mirush.

- Han er en litt sånn snill og sympatisk fyr som vil det beste for alle, sier Kaada om sin karakter Frode.

I tillegg spiller også Ramadan Huseini, kjent fra danske filmer som «Bleeder» og «Pusher 3», filmens mafiaversting som gir Frode en stri tørn på restauranten.

Blodsbånd har premiere på norske kinoer førstkommende fredag.

Nawaz Sharif to visit Bangkok for summit

Nawaz SharifIslamabad, Nov 9 : Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will undertake an official visit to Bangkok between Nov 17 and 19 to participate in the Connect Asia Pacific Summit, the foreign ministry said Friday.
Sharif will also pay official bilateral visit to Thailand after the summit commitments at the invitation of his Thai counterpart Yingluck Shinawatra, reported Xinhua citing the ministry in a statement.
His visit is expected to further augment the established close ties between the two friendly countries and their peoples, it added.

RSA suspends three senior executives

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Friday that it is opening investigation into the 61,000 Volkswagen SUV over complaints that the exterior lights of the models have failed. NHTSA announced that it is investigating the 2009-11 VW Tiguan after it received 26 complaints of a partial or complete loss of the vehicle's exterior lights including headlights, taillights and turn signals.

exports-of-servicesAn inter-ministerial group (IMG) is working on drawing a new roadmap for boosting exports of services, a senior Commerce Ministry official revealed.
Rajeev Kher, Additional Secretary in the Commerce Ministry, told reporters that an IMG had already started working on bringing changes in the services sector, the Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics (DGCI&S) had been assigned with the task of collecting required data.
The IMG has created a total of eight working groups on sectors like health, tourism and logistics. He added that main idea was to get all relevant departments as well as ministries together on a single platform with a view to bring reforms in the services sector.
Speaking on the topic, he added, "Our attention is always on merchandise trade and not really on services trade. Mechanism for capturing data related to the sector is not good. It lacks substance and we also do not have survey based data."
Currently, the Commerce Ministry obtains stats on services from the Balance of Payment (BOP) data prepared by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) when negotiating trade agreements with foreign countries on services.
India's share of services exports in total world exports of services has been enjoying a faster growth than the share of merchandise exports. It grew 0.6 per cent in 1990 to 3.3 per cent in 2011.

Merlin Entertainments raises £957m on LSE


Merlin EntertainmentsMerlin Entertainments, which runs popular attractions including Alton Towers, Madame Tussauds, the London Eye and the Edinburgh Dungeon, has been able to raise £957 million at its debut on the London Stock Exchange.
The shares of the company rose 9 per cent on its debut yesterday on the stock market in London. The shares rose 32p to 347p as it sold 30 per cent stake priced at 315p. Merlin Entertainments also operates other attractions including Sea Life centres at Loch Lomond and Oban and Legoland and Chessington theme parks. The company announced conditional dealings will begin on 12 November, 2013. Experts were predicting that the shares were valued between 280p and 330p.
The company said that the members of the public who invest £1000 to buy shares will also get an option to save 30 per cent on yearly passes to Merlin attractions. Private equity owners Blackstone and CVC have said that they are selling their shares. However, Kirkbi, the Danish family-owned investment company that owns Lego and Legoland trademarks and 75 per cent of the Lego Group, will retain a significant stake in the company.
The chief executive Nick Varney said, "We have long stated our belief that becoming a public company was Merlin's ultimate destiny, providing the right long-term ownership to enable the next stage of development."

China’s consumer prices rise lower than expected


China consumerAccording to the latest figures released, China's consumer prices have risen lower than expected during the month of October.
The National Bureau of Statistics said today in Beijing that the consumer price index rose 3.2 per cent in October compared to 3.3 per cent median estimate in a Bloomberg News survey. China's annual consumer inflation increased to the level of 3.1 per cent in September, which was its highest in several months. The October CPI gain was the highest since February when the index also rose 3.2  per cent

PM announces Rs.2,000 crore as Phailin relief

India's forex reserves down $1.65 bn to $281 bnMumbai, Nov 9 : India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves declined by $1.65 billion to touch $281.29 billion for the week ended Nov 1, official data showed.
The forex reserves had risen by $1.82 billion to touch $282.95 billion for the week ended Oct 25.
According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Weekly Statistical Supplement, India's foreign currency assets (FCA), the biggest component of the forex reserves, decreased by $894.2 million to $253.60 billion for the week under review.

Emirates Airline builds its own aircraft

The two-seater RV 12 is six metres long and is the result of thousands of hours of dedication by a group of Emirates' engineering trainees, working in their spare time.
Over a two-year period, the group of 40 trainees rose to the challenge of assembling 11,000 parts of the aircraft.

US Navy names new aircraft carrier after Gerald Ford

A special ceremony was organised to mark the christening at the Huntington-Ingalls Industries Newport new shipyard in the state of Virginia Saturday, reported Xinhua.
Susan Ford Bales, daughter of former president Gerald Ford and also the ship's sponsor, officially christened the ship by breaking a champagne bottle against a plate welded to the hull.
